This female Brewer's Blackbird was found on October 17, 2003 at the Cape Point campground at Cape Hatteras, NC, during the Wings Over Water festival. It was hanging around picnic tables and grills in rows E, F, and G of the campground, catching lots of caterpillars in the short grass. It was hanging around in the same spot all day on Oct. 18, when I took these photos. It was not relocated on Oct. 19.
