Wandering Glider (Pantala flavescens)

Wandering Glider (Pantala flavescens)

Wandering Glider is migratory yellowish dragonfly that is common in North Carolina, especially during fall migration.

Very rarely seen perched, they are commonly seen flying around in parking lots, every so often dropping eggs on shiny cars, which they mistake for pools of water.
